Silkie

A distinctive breed of domestic chicken best known for its unusually fluffy appearance. Its feathers lack the tiny hook like structures that normally hold feathers together, so instead of lying flat they feel soft and furry, almost like fur or silk which is where the breed gets its name. On average, they lay 120 small eggs per year.
